Reaching for the bowl of Quality Street or the dish of mixed nuts, not to mention lifting the glass of Merlot from the table to the mouth, is more than enough exercise for anyone over the Christmas period. Thank heaven for the remote control device to save having to get up from armchair after the Turkey, roast gravy and cranberry sauce to change channels on the television.
